SERVICES - 3D CMM INSPECTION

We are one of the few machinists in South Africa to have access to the technological marvel that is the COORD 3 Bridge CMM Machine. This allows us to inspect and measure all finished products, assisting us to consistently meet customer requirements. Precision and accuracy is incredibly important to us, as perfection in engineering allows us to exceed customer expectations consistently, so inspections throughout the process guarantee our product quality. There is no need for us to outsource inspections at any point in a machining process, as we have this state-of-the-art 3D Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) complete with MODUS software.

The 3D inspection measurements are accurate to five thousandths of a millimetre, and are conducted in a temperature controlled workshop to ensure the utmost accuracy and precision once the part has acclimatised. This is used in manufacturing and assembly processes to test a part or assembly against the design intent, with the MODUS software analysing as needed. A probe conducts exact measurements on any size part required, and a report printout is then produced listing the specific measurement readings from the inspection, allowing for quality control.
